Christopher S. LaRoche currently works as a user experience consultant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Chris has worked as a technical writer, information designer, user researcher, and usability consultant in technology for many years, acting most frequently as a ‘UX generalist.’
Chris is also a Senior Lecturer at the College of Professional Studies (CPS) at Northeastern University, where he has taught for over a dozen years. He teaches graduate courses in usability and user experience, mobile usable design, and user research. He also teaches undergraduate survey courses in modern Irish history.
He has been active for many years in the User Experience Professionals’ Association (UXPA), previously serving on Board of Directors of the Boston and International Chapter. Chris is active in the usability/UX community and regularly presents at professional conferences.
